Ceremonial start of the festival at the Ethnographic Museum in Zielona Góra based at Ochla. It is an outdoor event for all festival participants and the audience during which it is possible to get to know folk groups and to be involved in the lessons of folklore e.g. learn how to dance traditional dances and taste regional dishes. The program include also International Competition "Singers in Ochla", group integration. People interested in competitions in throwing stones or whipping butter can take part.
The ensembles will present full music and dance programs on the boards of the Lubuski Theater in Zielona Góra. The Artistic Council will evaluate the presentation of the ensembles and take into consideration reference to specific customs and rituals from the regions and countries from which the performers comes, artistic values of the singing, dance and music and their reference to the styles of the tradition, fidelity at referring to the tradition (between the generations). The full music and dance program of each band will last approximately 45 minutes; live music bands will appear on stage.
The partner city, where all ensembles will also perform, is Łagów, which is called the Pearl of Lubuskie Land. This nickname results from its tourism values, as well as beautiful natural environment. Łagów is located in the central part of Lubuskie Province, on the isthmus between two lakes: Łagowskie Lake and Trześniowskie Lake. The town is surrounded by nearly 3 500 ha of forests of the Łagów Landscape Park, along with its constituent nature reserves.
All the ensembles will present full programs on the stage of Łagów amphitheater.
A short artistic program with a folklore lesson for the inhabitants of the village from the Lubuski Region.
Enthusiasts of folk design are invited to the handicraft exhibition, during which the producers will present their works. You will be able to see folk-designer jewelry, clothes, furniture, home accessories, toys. The undertaking promotes handicraft and folk crafts from the border of the Lubuskie and Greater Poland voivodships.
The program includes animations and games for children with ensembles that will come to the festival. Participants will be able to learn traditional chants and dances, see costumes from a given country or get to know the culture of our bands.
Peaceful atmosphere, relaxing music, bookcrossing shelf, green surroundings. Everyone will find a pouf or a hammock. People who will be interested can participate in the workshops. There are planned thematic workshops, contests and kamishibai fairy tales in the program of the artistic academy.
Folk Jam Session is a kind of sound hybrid during which different cultures of the invited folk ensembles meet together and the musicians improvise on the currently played musical composition.
The ceremonial end of the festival week. Spectators receive a colorful array of folklore culture during one meeting. It also an important moment for the performers because the Artistic Council will present the results of the proceedings and will give awards and merit.
