The building of Lubuski Theatre named after: L. Kruczkowski was built in 1931. The design was created by the architect Oskar Kaufmann from Berlin, the author of Volksbühne. It was a multifunctional building, adapted for performing dramatic, musical and ballet works, as well as operas and films. It was maintained thanks to the grants from the city budget and revenue from the cinema activity. After the reconstruction in post-war period, its role was reduced only to the function of the theatre. Currently, it is popular both among children and adults.
The Artistic Council will judge presentations of the folk groups demonstrating traditions and culture in a dance. The entire musical-dance program of each ensemble will last approx. 45 minutes. The music bands will turn up at the scene with live music. It will be possible to see folk instruments of various cultures.
